Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
PS Green Logistics Limited (“PS Green”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, drivers, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights available to you under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (“NDPA”) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation.
1. Data We Collect
- Account data: full name, email, phone number, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and role.
- Shipment data: sender/receiver names, phone numbers, pickup and delivery addresses, item descriptions, declared value, and payment records.
- Driver data:for drivers specifically, we additionally collect date of birth, home address, National Identity Number (NIN) or other government ID, driver's licence details, guarantor information, and next-of-kin details, as part of our vetting process for staff who handle customers' goods.
- Location data:a driver's live GPS location is collected only while they are online andhave an active shipment assigned to them (from pickup assignment through to delivery). This is used to power live tracking for customers and dispatch coordination for our operations team. Location sharing stops immediately once a driver goes offline or has no active job. Customers only ever see a driver's live position on the public tracking page while their own shipment is out for delivery — never before or after that window, and never for other customers' shipments.
- Payment data: we do not store your full card details. Card payments are processed by Paystack, our licensed payment service provider.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
2. Why We Collect It
We process personal data to: create and manage your account; process bookings, payments, and refunds; assign drivers and route shipments; provide live tracking; communicate shipment status updates; respond to support requests and claims; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and improve our services.
3. Who We Share Data With
We share data only as necessary to deliver the Services: with our vetted delivery partners when they carry an interstate or international leg of your shipment (limited to the shipment and contact details necessary for that leg; you can ask us which carrier handles your shipment); with Paystack for payment processing; with Google (Maps Platform) for address autocomplete, geocoding, and route/ETA calculation; with our email provider for transactional notifications; and with Google Cloud Platform, our infrastructure provider. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
4. Data Retention
- Account and shipment records are retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations.
- Raw driver location history is automatically purged after 30 days. Only a simplified delivery route (not raw GPS pings) is retained against a completed shipment, for dispute resolution purposes.
- OTP codes are stored hashed and expire within minutes; they are never logged in plain text.
5. Your Rights Under the NDPA
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to our legitimate need to retain certain records (e.g. completed transactions) for legal or regulatory reasons.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (e.g. marketing communications).
- Object to certain processing and request restriction of processing.
- Data portability, where technically feasible.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at psgreenlimited100@gmail.com. Account settings also include self-service data export and account deletion.
6. Driver Location Consent
Drivers give explicit, recorded consent to location tracking during their account activation, and can review exactly what is shared and when from their own profile. Consent can be reviewed but not selectively disabled while performing an active delivery, since location sharing is intrinsic to the delivery-tracking service drivers are employed to provide; drivers who no longer wish to share location data should raise this with their account manager.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords and OTP codes, role-based access control, and audit logging of administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the website or by email.
10. Contact

This document is a working draft prepared for the PS Green Logistics platform launch. It should be reviewed by qualified Nigerian legal counsel, and a Data Protection Officer designated per NDPA requirements, before the company relies on it in production.
